Suspect in 7-Eleven killing charged with 3 additional robberies
WHITTIER — The suspect charged with a fatal shooting at a Whittier 7-Eleven store was charged today with three additional armed robberies.
Kevin Karnell Hall, 25, faces one count of murder and six counts of sec0nd-degree robbery.
Hall is charged with robbing four convenience stores in Los Angeles and Orange counties, including one in Whittier where victim Maninder Singh, 31, was fatally shot, the prosecutor said.
If convicted as charged, Hall faces life in prison without the possibility of parole or capital punishment. A decision on whether to seek the death penalty will be made at a later date. He is being held without bail.
Hall’s arraignment was continued to March 18 at Los Angeles Superior Court in Norwalk.
