Job help available for young adults

SANTA FE SPRINGS – Local young adults ages 18-24 are invited to an orientation at the Rio Hondo America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) in Santa Fe Springs to learn about no-cost employment and training services.

The orientation is Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m.

If you are out of school and out of work and looking for a career, the AJCC can help with direct job placement; paid internships; vocational training such as nursing assistants or truck driving; and college enrollment.

All services are paid for by the U.S. Department of Labor through the County of Los Angeles Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services.
